Frequently Asked Questions

First, place one foot on the pedal, push off with the other foot, place both feet on the footboard, keep your balance and gently press the throttle to accelerate. It is recommended that you ride at a constant speed and never accelerate or brake abruptly.

Note: The electric scooter will only start moving once it is in coasting mode and has reached a speed of 5 km/h.

The NAVEE GT-Series electric scooters are suitable for people aged between 16 and 50 and with a height of between 120 cm and 200 cm; the maximum load capacity is 120 kg. Riding under the influence of alcohol is prohibited; furthermore, you must not ride if you have taken any drugs that could impair your judgement.

lithium battery

As soon as the scooter’s battery charge drops below 30%, the battery switches to sleep mode and can no longer be switched on. In this case, charge the scooter for at least 3 seconds to deactivate or exit sleep mode.

In everyday use, avoid letting the battery run completely flat before recharging; instead, try to recharge it whilst you are still using it – this can significantly extend the battery’s lifespan. Furthermore, the battery achieves greater range and performance when used at room temperature. When used in an environment below 0 °C, both the battery’s lifespan and performance are reduced. Typically, the range at -20 °C may be only half or less than at room temperature. Avoid using the battery in an environment below 0 °C or above 45 °C. Avoid storing the battery in an environment below -20 °C or above 50 °C. If the scooter is not used for more than 30 days, please charge the battery to around 80% and store it in a cool, dry place. It is recommended that you fully charge the battery every 1 to 2 months to extend its lifespan.

Note:

1. If the battery is not recharged in good time, there is a risk of deep discharge and resulting damage. Such damage is irreparable. A battery damaged by prolonged lack of charging cannot be recharged; furthermore, such damage is not covered by the free warranty.

2. Once the battery is fully charged, disconnect it from the mains to prevent overcharging, which can damage the battery over time.

3. The battery should be charged at a temperature between 0 °C and 40 °C. Failure to do so may damage the battery.

4. If the scooter is not used for an extended period, ensure that the battery is charged to at least 80% every six months and stored in a cool, dry place to avoid high temperatures and humidity.

When riding the e-scooter, energy recovery is activated as soon as you squeeze the brake lever or release the throttle to coast; this converts some of the kinetic energy into electrical energy, which is then stored and reused. Energy recovery can increase the range whilst also providing a braking effect. When using the scooter for the first time, it is recommended that you set the level to ‘Low’. Once you have connected to the NAVEE App, scroll right to the bottom of the product’s main page, where you can set the intensity of the energy recovery. The default setting is “Low”, but you can choose between three levels: “Low”, “Medium” and “High”.

The water resistance rating for the NAVEE N-series e-scooters is IPX4; for all models in the S- and GT-series, it is IPX5 (IPX5 allows for riding in light rain for short periods. However, riding in heavy rain or stormy weather is not recommended. After riding, it is advisable to dry the e-scooter – particularly the battery compartment and the charging port). In the interests of users’ personal safety, however, riding in wet weather is not recommended, as roads are slippery when wet, which can lead to falls or injuries. For reasons of personal safety, riding in extreme weather conditions is prohibited.

1. Connect the valve attachment to the air pump.

2. Unscrew the cap from the tyre valve, attach the valve attachment to the tyre valve and screw it tight.

3. Inflate the tyre.

Note: The recommended tyre pressure for the front and rear tyres is 45 psi. We also recommend checking the tyre pressure regularly before each use, as correct tyre pressure ensures better performance and a longer tyre life. Excessive tyre pressure can make the ride uncomfortable and increase the risk of tyre damage.
